The idea of Spam is a useless tactic which involves people with no lives whats so ever. I believe the people who are involved with sending spams to other people must have a lot of time on their hands because it would take a lot of effort and time to do so. Although I believe this, spammers must be really good at doing at whatever they are doing because they are able to protect themselves from being tracked down for internet providers.

I think spam is very stupid and a waste of time. people who send spam have nothing better to do with their life. It is a huge waste of time for the sender and the receiver because most people know what spam is and will not open the message when they receive it

My idea of spam is that is is very useless and does not have a point to it other then to irritate people. Spam should be illegal and spam is very bad because it can really slow your email and computer down. To try to avoid spam you should always protect your email adress and even use anti-spam programs, but most importantly, never respond to it!

1. Spam isn’t the best thing for your computer; in fact it has no benefits other than unnecessary advertisements to things you wouldn’t care to see anyways. Spammers are usually aware of how much they bother people with these annoying messages so they usually put inaccurate contact information leaving the people very angry because of the cost of receiving messages. The only reason so much spam goes on is because people actually get tricked into buying the product being marketed to them. The only reason why there is so much spam messages out there is because it is so cheap and on top of that you have little to no risk of getting caught. Spam costs money, time, and resources which makes recipients very angry.

The third type of spam is "The theft of resources", this spam as an increasing number of spammers, and send most or all of their mail via innocent intermediate systems to avoid blocks that many systems has created to block the incoming mail from the spammers'.

This type of spam, may cause many other spammers to use "hit and run" where they would trial dial-up an Internet provider for a few days, and send thousands of messages than abandons the account.

"They're crooks" is a spam software promises to run on a provider's system in a way designed to be had for the provider to detect so they cannot tell what the spammer is doing. Third, filter out spam, which has many email programs that have a built-in-tools that block messages sent from certain addresses or that filter messages.

I think spam is something that people who abuse the privilege of messaging use to either trick or annoy other users. This can include tricking other people to click on a spam message maybe thinking they won something when in reality all they get is nothing, a virus, or their information stolen. Why people want to annoy others with spam is unknown to everyone except the one sending spam but most people already know that spam should be ignored so there really is no point in people wasting their time and energy to create messages almost no one will read. I think there should be a better spam filter so the real spam will be automatically deleted and messages that usually get marked as spam accidentally get placed into the inbox automatically. This would allow users to not have to be annoyed by the presence of spam and save users money since they won't be charged for receiving a spam message if they are using a messaging/webmail service that charges for incoming messages.

I personally think that spam is a stupid thing that people decide to do. The people who spam must have a to pay something in order to do what they think they do best."By contrast, the spammer probably has a T1 line that costs him about $100/day. No other kind of advertising costs the advertiser so little, and the recipient so much." thats what most spammers must pay a day in order to do this.

Spam is a useless thing and it is a waste of time.Everyone's email will find some spam emails. But I want to say that the ways of those spammer are smart. They save the cost of advertisement and use hit and run. Take the problems to those workers. We need know how to deal with them and follow some ideas from there such as applying more than one address, ignore them or others. We cannot be mad about those normal things. In order to project our computer, we are necessary to download some projector to prevent it.

In my opinion, spam is likely the most futile concept created. Sending spam doesn't benefit the sender or the receiver. Spam just floods the internet with irrelevant advertisements Email spam targets individual users with direct mail messages. Email spam lists are often created by stealing Internet mailing lists, or searching the Web for addresses. Email spamscost users money out-of-pocket to receive. Many people - anyone with measured phone service - read or receive their mail and are charged per minute of data usage. Spam costs them additional money.

On top of that, the senders do not gain from spam. Many people are so irritated by receiving spam mail that they either delete it right away, or if they do happen to see what company is sending the spam, they refuse to buy their products as their form of advertising in unproffessional and annoying.

Idea of spam:
The idea is not good and useless because it’s just giving junks that are not really good. Its really annoying to have junk mails in you emails which its not really good. As for myself I don’t like unnecessary mails in my email which is really very useless. I don’t even open it and I just delete everything. Maybe this is a way on tricking people but when I comes to money everyone needs to come up with their own survival mode which they use these as one of them. I think for them it’s useful because they gain money but for us who doesn't care? It’s useless. Spam is sometimes using products of people that are really known so people would go for it. The problem to this is that the owners of the product could be blamed for wrong information and can be blame for has been lost by the person who got spammed.

Spam is an irrelevant or unsolicited messages sent over the Internet, typically to large numbers of users, for the purposes of advertising, spreading malware, etc. Spam is flooding the Internet with many copies of the same message, in an attempt to force the message on people who would not otherwise choose to receive it. Most spam is commercial advertising, often for dubious products, get-rich-quick schemes, or quasi-legal services. Spam costs the sender very little to send -- most of the costs are paid for by the recipient or the carriers rather than by the sender.

I'm not a fan of spam.

I believe that spam is annoying and useless because it comes in bulk and clogs up in your inbox. Spam can also be viruses because they are sent from people you do not know which could be hazardous to someone’s computer. Also, it is a pain to enable spam filters in your email because spam comes so often. To me, this is just a big waste of time for the sender especially because nobody opens these emails because they are aware that it is spam, so there is no value in even sending it.

Spam is very pointless and annoying. It is useless and no one ever wants it. Spam charges for advertisements that are unnecessary and unwanted by people. Spam does not really benefit anyone that receives the message. It is a waste of money and time. It invades people's privacy and no one wants that.

In my opinion, I think spam emails are useless and a waste of time. They fill up people’s inboxes and push their important emails to the bottom. It gets in the way and some emails have viruses attached. What is the point of sending people emails about something useless anyway. It wastes their time trying to obtain our email addresses and send it, and it wastes our time trying to figure out how to stop it. Spamming should be illegal because it’s a more indirect way of harassing someone. However, I think that today a lot more is being done to prevent spam from showing up on peoples inboxes. On my email program, spam is already filtered out and deleted. If one happens to get through it doesn’t bother me. It’s easy to just simply delete it and move on. If people are easily annoyed by spam emails, they can easily fix it.

In my opinion, I absolutely hate spam in e-mails that I am constantly creating new e-mail addresses in order to stay away from spam. It's kind of funny because I created an e-mail which I dedicated to receiving spam e-mails because I feel that it is quite funny. I tried to subscribe to anything that I have ever had the chance to and, voilà! Here is a link to a picture of my e-mail: http://i.imgur.com/GhZud4E.png

The Spam University seems like a place where I would want to further my education is Spam Studies, and expand my knowledge on it as well. All jokes aside, I find spam is really pointless and not useful in anyway. Although spam may be used to initiate viruses and things of the such, I still believe that 95% of the population would not even look at those e-mail. Most of the time spam is filtered into your junk folder anyway so I think that spam isn't even accomplishing anything anymore. The society has adapted to spam and I believe that it has become unimportant and less noticed now-a-days.

I personally think spam Is very annoying and a waste of my time, a lot of people agree with me when I say the world would be a better place without it. Some people give up their email and social accounts because they feel harassed on how much spam they get, they key on not giving up is learning how to stop it or at least try . For example using your trash box in your email. And never give your information to a website your not a 100% sure of . Because it could do A LOT of damage like sending you viruses and wrecking your computer .

Spam will never go away. Some people say that if people don't click on spam it will go away and spammers will cease to exist (The article 10 Tips to Stop Spam mentions this). This is untrue, I'm pretty someone who recognizes spam is not going to click on it anyways, so obviously these mass E-mail spam attacks are working and creating profit. Spammers target the people who don't recognize spam, naive users who are new to the Internet like kids, or seniors. Simply deleting spam and ignoring it isn't going to affect anything. Unfortunately there is no fool-proof way to combat spam for good and spam is an inevitable thing we'll have to live with.

Many people have their opinion on spam, here's mine. Spam can be very annoying and sometimes make you feel mad, i know it makes me mad when I get hundreds of spam emails and i have to delete all of those and waste my time. I think spam is there just to piss you off and steal your information/give you viruses. I hope after you read this you see spam is retarded and not useful what so ever

Spam is one of my pet peeves on the internet, especially since I visit forums often. Spam is something I encounter on a daily basis through E-Mail, social networking, forums, and more. The E-Mail spam I recieve is usually regarding advertisements. I don't pay much attention to them, since I rarely check my E-Mail. Spam on Twitter, on the other hand, is very hard to tolerate, since I read my timeline on a regular basis. Certain comedy accounts promote each other, spamming people's timelines with promotions. I aim to unfollow those people, since I consider their promoting spam. Spam on forums is by far the worst. The main form of spam that annoys me on the forums is "bumping". This is the act of posting within outdated threads in order to bring them up to the top of the filter. This is usually done repetitively, burying new topics. In conclusion, while encountering (and being pestered by) spam every day, I've learned to ignore it. In my opinion, spammers should find something better to do with their lives. Pestering people on the internet shouldn't be tolerated on any internet site/E-mail service.
